Start with where the images will appear
List the placements you need: product pages, social posts, stories and advertising. Leave room around the product for different crops and any planned text.
Show what customers need to see
Capture a clear main image, useful details, scale and the product in context. Avoid styling that hides features people need to judge before buying.
Capture variety with a purpose
Change the composition and setting to answer different questions. A close-up explains texture; a wider shot explains how the product fits into everyday use.
Organise the handover
Group your selected images by product and use. Keep a record of approved captions, product information and permissions so the team can publish consistently.
